PentaBase sees this partnership as a significant step towards creating awareness about the efficient improvements regarding cancer treatments, which PentaBase enables. CEO and founder of PentaBase Ulf Bech Christensen believe in the importance of supporting festivities such as the biggest and most famous bicycle race on earth. He says the following about the partnership:
“Some things only happen once in a lifetime, and it is important to seize the moment. Like when we used all our resources to help the Danish society when Corona affected Denmark very badly in March 2020. Therefore, we see a huge potential in supporting one of the biggest sports events, the Tour de France. And if we simultaneously can create attention regarding the future way of detecting cancer mutations within patients, we are extremely proud.”
Bicycling has been a huge part of Danish culture for many years, and it still is. When festivities like Tour de France occur, a unique atmosphere, euphoria, and spirit occur as the whole country meets to celebrate, cheer, and have a good time. The Grand Départ Copenhagen Denmark route
Denmark will host three stages of the race, starting from Friday 1st July 2022 in Copenhagen, where the stage is an individual time trial of 13 kilometers. The second stage will take place the day after, 2nd July 2022, from Roskilde to Nyborg with 202 kilometers. Finally, the last stage in Denmark will be on 3rd July 2022 and will set out from Vejle to Sønderborg with 182 kilometers. Afterward, the tour will continue outside of Denmark’s borders.
