The IgG antibody test can detect the blood serum levels of IgG antibodies targeting the spike protein of SARS-CoV-2. The first vaccine for SARS-CoV-2 was available at the end of 2020, and the distribution of vaccines has already begun. Several vaccines are designed to help the body recognise the spike protein of the SARS-CoV-2 with the production of IgG-antibodies. Our antibody ELISA test can determine the amount of SARS-CoV-2 spike protein-specific IgG antibodies, which can help quantify the individual immunity after receiving one of the vaccines. We report test results based on WHO international standards, which is a global standard of antibody quantification.
At PentaBase, we want to give you the possibility to understand the effects of your vaccine. Book your test if you have received one of the available vaccines and understand the status of your immunity from the vaccine. You can book an appointment to get an ELISA test at two of our test facilities, either in Herlev or Odense.
