How is PentaBase aiding in the detection of COVID-19?
PentaBase has become an active part of the fight against COVID-19. Through a rapid effort of our researchers, we developed a sensitive and specific multiplex RT qPCR version of the COVID-19 test, CoviDetect™. The test is unique as it allows the testing of three times as many samples with the use of standard laboratory equipment. This assay has since been used to develop CoviDetect™ Variants, which is assays that detect variant and mutations
With the use of our technology, we are able to detect SARS-CoV-2 and any of its mutations.
