Product name:
BasePurifier™ 48 Large Volume Nucleic Acid Extraction System 48 rotating rods

Intended Use

The BasePurifier™ 48 Large Volume Nucleic Acid Extraction Rotating System is a general laboratory device for automatic and simultaneous extraction and purification of nucleic acids up to 48 large volume samples, using extraction reagents comprising of magnetic beads. The extracted and purified nucleic acids are suitable for polymerase chain reaction, gene-chip, gene hybridisation, gene sequencing, cloning and other technologies, and can be applied to scientific research, clinical applications, food safety, forensic investigations, companion diagnostics, veterinary diagnostics, etc., with samples from whole blood, serum and other liquid samples etc. The instrument is intended for use by healthcare professionals or qualified laboratory personnel instructed and trained in the techniques of nucleic acid purification.

PentaBase’s BasePurifier™ 48 has a large volume extraction solution with a 1 mL sample volume,
which can support extraction from samples with low nucleic acid concentration.

The BasePurifier™ 48 and 96 have stringent contamination control with rotary technology, which
minimizes the risk of cross-contamination.

Assisting the Stratification of Lymphomas

The PlentiPlex MYD88 L265P assay is intended for in vitro diagnosis of the leucine to proline mutation in codon 265 of the Myeloid differentiation primary response 88 protein (MYD88 L265P) in genomic DNA (gDNA) samples. The obtained results of the PlentiPlex MYD88 L265P assay are intended for assisting in the discrimination between patients with Lymphoplasmacytic lymphoma/Waldenstrom macroglobulinemia (LPL/WM) and other non-Hodgkin lymphomas.
