Product name BasePurifier™ 96 Nucleic Acid Extraction System 96 rotating rods
Intended Use
The BasePurifier™ 96 Nucleic Acid Extraction System 96 rotating rods (later referred to as BasePurifier™ 96) is a general laboratory device for automatic and simultaneous extraction and purification of nucleic acids from up to 96 samples, using extraction reagents comprising magnetic beads. Samples can be many different sources, like whole blood, cfDNA, ctDNA, cell colonies, solid biopsies, plants, faeces, and others, either purified directly or after pre-treatment. The extracted and purified nucleic acids are suitable for polymerase chain reaction, gene-chip, gene hybridization, gene sequencing, cloning and other technologies. These technologies can be applied to scientific research, clinical applications, food safety, forensic investigations, companion diagnostics, veterinary diagnostics, and other application fields. The instrument is intended for use by healthcare professionals or qualified laboratory personnel instructed and trained in the techniques of nucleic acid purification.
The BasePurifier™ 48 and 96 instruments have stringent contamination control with rotary technology, which minimizes the risk of cross-contamination.

Assisting the Stratification of Lymphomas
The PlentiPlex™ MYD88 L265P assay is intended for in vitro diagnosis of the leucine to proline mutation in codon 265 of the Myeloid differentiation primary response 88 protein (MYD88 L265P) in genomic DNA (gDNA) samples. The obtained results of the PlentiPlex™ MYD88 L265P assay are intended for assisting in the discrimination between patients with Lymphoplasmacytic lymphoma/Waldenstrom macroglobulinemia (LPL/WM) and other non-Hodgkin lymphomas.
