The new gold standard of cervical cancer screening.

The goal of this JTF valorization project is to improve existing diagnostic methods, alleviate the workload in the healthcare sector, and make high quality, personalized healthcare more accessible with regard to the early detection of cervical cancer. To develop and validate a prototype qPCR test using a technique and platform that does not require a bisulfite conversion step, thereby improving speed and sustainability while reducing testing time and cost. As a result, significantly more woman in the Netherlands and worldwide can be tested more quickly, and more cases cervical cancer can be detected at an early stage. This project is co-funded by the European Union.
